I had worked with Stacey previously for a different company, and it was such a rewarding experience that I couldn’t wait to work with her again. I loved her painted characters, especially their outfits and prints. She seemed like a great match for the expressive brand, RVCA. Stacey and I finally got to meet in person, when design director, Jenna, and I hosted a visit at RVCA headquarters. Stacey met with the women’s design team and we discussed approach for the collection. I’m so happy with how this turned out. I think the marketing materials are really eye-catching - we were super grateful Stacey shared her home with us - it definitely personalized this project even more.
“Introducing artist and illustrator Stacey Rozich. Combining elements of Folklore, Medieval Religious Iconography and American Pop Culture, Stacey constructs bright watercolor vignettes. Through lush pattering, symbolism and nostalgia, she brings her storybook world to life.”
